Monday - 14 Mar/16

Today, like the next few, will be the hottest of the year. Near record temps in the high 80's F (touching 90 F in a few places); but without rain until later in the week.

We are still resting due to our colds; however the symptoms have lessened and the main problem is just being tired.

My chore today was to do a "Dump" of the holding tank. It might rain (Thursday-Friday) so I thought it best to do that now rather than have to go out in the rain if it did get full.

Charlotte was off to crafts after lunch for the first time in a few weeks.

Today's craft was a small purse. As usual Charlotte did a great job!

So neat - inside and out! Compartments galore for everything and anything.

Charlotte checked the Park Post Office which is next to the Craft Hall. It yielded a "You've Got Mail" card. Charlotte walked over to pick up the Package and 2 more purse closures that she had ordered from Julie. I can't wait to see the next two purses.

My antenna mast (2) for the Del Sol had arrived at the park office. I ordered 2 so I will have a spare for the next time it strips. What happened was that ice and snow (remember - we live half way to the North Pole) can keep the mast from fully extending and/or retracting. This eventually stripped the plastic cogs on the mast (the white part) causing it to no longer be able to fully extend or retract. Instead a rapid repeated clicking is heard when it hits the stripped portion. Perhaps I will try to install it tomorrow?

Charlotte brought some material over to Jean and returned just in time to get in on Kat's phone call from home.

Then it was round two of the great spaghetti supper. We pigged out.

That did it - Charlotte had a nap. We are getting over our colds; but we still wipe out easily.

A regular TV evening rounded out the day.
