Wed - Feb 8/12

We took it easy most of the day.

Charlotte went to pick up tickets for February events at the Activity Counter in Guest Services. Ooops. She had to return the Sweetheart Dance Tickets as they were for the same date as our tickets for Neil Sedaka.

It took me most of the day to scan and copy the pages and pages of reports from Charlotte's recent medical episode. I added these to the folder we keep with all pertinent medical info. Having this proved helpful when the cardiologist used a previous EKG scan to compare and determine there was no heart attack.

Today was the monthly (during "high" season) park Steak Dinner. About a third of the park (200) turns out for this event. We always enjoy meeting new folks at these events. This time we sat with folks who now have a park model. They originally lived in Philadelphia. The meal is a deal for $12.00 considering they serve 12 oz. Sirloin with baked potato, salad, veggies and dessert. This time folks picked up their utensils, salad and dessert as they arrived. This made it easier at steak time as we didn't have to try to carry so much as their are no trays available. They pull table numbers to decide on the steak pick-up order. We were table #1 and we were picked last!

After supper we went to the shopping area off US-60 at Signal Butte Road just a quick 15 minute ride from the park. We both had our hair cut at Supercuts. Unfortunately, there was no room after our steak supper for a treat at Cold Stone Creamery. We then zipped across the parking lot to Walmart to pick up K-Cups (Coffee) and a few odds and ends.

Back at the RV I ordered some more sewing machine accessories (feet) for Charlotte. Then it was TV time. We went to bed early (10 pm) as Charlotte will be up early (7 am) tomorrow for a full day with morning and afternoon sessions in the quilting room.
