Mon - 10 Feb/14

Yes - we slept in.

Another perfect day - 0% chance of rain, clear skies and Mid-70's F.

Charlotte finished sample basket #1 with a red & White theme and lace trim. She began working on basket #2 that will have a slightly different finishing decoration using "Prairie Points" instead of lace.

It was so nice Charlotte decided to walk to the craft session. Charlotte may be teaching the craft folks how to make the basket in the future as 10 were interested in the project.

I kept busy while Charlotte was at crafts. It was time again to dump (the RV sewage tank). I also took the wall mounted hair dryer apart to check if there was a solution to it's failure this morning. The motor has fried. I left the wall plate on the wall. If I find a match I will just have to snap it in place.

We thought about going to look for a hair dryer replacement; however, we decided to stay so we would not miss the Regular Bingo tonight.

There was a large crowd at Bingo, as usual. We sat at our usual table facing the "Caller" and the front display board.

Charlotte brought each of us a coffee. She somehow keeps forgetting I don't drink coffee so she has to drink both (grin).

I actually had won a Bingo; however, others had called "Bingo" and I didn't call it in time before the "Bingo" was closed so I missed out. You sure can tell we aren't pros at this.

We watched the Olympics on TV when we returned to the RV after Bingo. This keeps us up later than usual.

In the World of Freestyle Skiing - Canada Rules! Today Alexandre Bilodeau and Mikael Kingsbury earned gold and silver, respectively, in freestyle skiing men's moguls to match the Gold and Silver medals won by the Dufour-:Lapointe sisters in the Women's Event. This was added to by Charles Hamelin winning Gold in Short Track (Speed Skating). It is the first time in Winter Olympics history that Canada has led in the medal count with 3 Gold, 3 Silver and 1 Bronze. Go Canada!

Tomorrow we might go out to find a replacement for the hair dryer. We have another hair dryer in the RV for back-up; however, being wall mounted makes using the hair dryer much more convenient.

We will decide tomorrow if we will depart before or after the monthly "Resident's Meeting" (10 a.m. in the Rec Hall).
