Tue - Mar 6/12

Today was another "Park Day". We are doing housekeeping chores in preparation for Catherine's (Charlotte's sister) visit.

I had phoned in to Arizona Propane to get the tank filled. They scheduled me for Wednesday. They must have been in the neighbourhood as they arrived mid-morning to fill. This which was great as tomorrow we would be away at different times. Now there is one less thing to get done before Catherine arrives.

We biked over to the Superstition Views section of the park around 11 am for the Open House which included Wine or Beer (or soft drinks and water, which we had) and snacks (Cheese platter, crackers and dip,  and cookies). They set up tables and chairs and had live music on the patio near the new pool and Bocce Ball courts.  They have sold a number of units since opening this section in January. Many folks are converting from their RV's to Park Models due to the ever rising price of gas. Other folks are considering leaving their RV's in storage rather than drive it back and forth. This is especially true of those who come longer distances. Our drive is 3000 miles - one way!

Charlotte went to the sewing room to get the pattern and instructions for the next project. She laid the pieces out when she returned to make sure she had everything completed.

Later I vacuumed the RV carpets. Charlotte "Mop 'n Glo'ed" the tile. A few little jobs left and we will be set for company.

The evening was, as usual, reserved for both NCIS programs on TV.

We went to bed after the news as we will be up early tomorrow to complete our tasks before picking up Catherine at Sky Harbor (airport) in Phoenix at 10 pm.
