Tuesday - 5 Apr/16

Up and out for the 9 a.m. appointment for the Del Sol's oil change at Tires Plus. It got it's usual refill of synthetic oil - been doing that since day one - maybe that's why it is still going strong. Next oil change will be at 500,000.

I then went to treat the Del Sol to a car wash. The heavy pollen from the Live Oaks had made a mess on the car. The car now looks decent.

This is "Del Sol" day  - after returning to the motorhome, with Charlotte's help, we installed the new Honda (licensed) car seat covers.

A beautiful day and a clean car with fresh oil and new seat covers was the perfect excuse for a road trip (like I need an excuse - grin). We decided to head to The Villages for Market Night.

A detour to JoAnn Fabrics (In Lady Lake - for a change) where Charlotte bought a 1 lb. ball of wool and large knitting needles. We then went next door for a tour through Bed and Bath. As usual we found a few things we didn't know we needed.

Our next destination was Lake Sumter Landing for Market Night around the town square. Such a lovely evening meant an overflow crowd.

Supper was at Johnny Rockets where we ate on the patio.

Inside things were "Rockin' as usual. Every so often the crew gets together and sings along to an old Rock 'n Roll tune - it's a hoot. Their Philly Cheesesteak was good as usual. Charlotte had a coffee and I a milkshake to wash it down.

Our final stop was at the other end of the square from Johnny Rockets. Charlotte found several nice items at Van Heusen.

We made it back to the motorhome just in time for the 10 p.m. Local News.

It was another busy day.
