A little extra "Snooze Time" this morning after a busy day yesterday.
We were all awake early; but remained in bed watching TV or reading until about 8:30 am.
A light breakfast and relaxing in the RV. Charlotte did a little sewing and I worked on the blog.
After a light lunch with fresh strawberries and whipped cream for dessert the girls went to the library. This was a "Busman's Holiday" for Catherine who is a retired Librarian (Manager - Technical Services - Ottawa, ON). She found a book from a series she liked to read. The Park Librarian, who lives in upper NY state in the off season (about 2 hours from our home in ON), was kept busy this year organizing the over 1200 books that were "donated" to the collection by various park residents.
The nice feature of the park is that it is not "oversized" and all facilities and services are within a short walk along shaded, paved grassy paths that run throughout the park.
Our neighbour, Jasmine, a Great Dane (Puppy) was out sunning herself. She is such a beautiful and gentle dog that we all want to run over and pet her.
The remainder of the afternoon was spent relaxing, doing a little sewing, watching a "Beatles Tribute" special on PBS (It's "Beg-a-Thon" time) or watching a DVD (Fried Green Tomatoes) before heading to the Dance (North Star Band) in the Main Ballroom at 7 pm.
We sat with some new folks to the park. They were from Calgary, AB. Bonus: Catherine was here and took a picture of Charlotte & I dancing - see - she did not come alone!
Another neat day in the park!
