Needless to say, we weren't up and departing anywhere by 7:30 a.m.
It will take us a week to get things all set up. We are making progress.
It took most of the morning to replace dozens of batteries in the many devices we use in the Motorhome. We have several wireless thermometers that send to two Clock/Displays. The RV Clocks use several "AA" batteries while the Thermometers use a similar number of "AAA" cells. These display the Refrigerator and the Freezer temps, the interior RV temps (Main and Bedroom areas) and outdoor temp (from the unit near the entrance door). I have 3 fans (2 "D" cells each) in the Refrigerator to circulate the air more efficiently. The Air Fresheners use "AA's" to spray every half hour. Then there are numerous flashlight units
While I did the batteries Charlotte unpacked the clothes and re-arranged all in the closets, the drawers and under the bed. This also took her almost all morning. The bedroom is now presentable; however the living area is still in chaos.
Jean, one of Charlotte's "Quilting" Buddies (also from Canada - as are half of the quilters) spotted our car in the park and went searching for our location. She graciously ignored "The Mess" and stayed for a bit. It was good to see her again and catch us up on some of the park happenings.
(N.B. It will take another day or two before I get the computer "up to speed" and am able to transfer iPhone pictures.) Other (blog) pictures used so far are grabbed from Google Maps, etc.
We continued unpacking, sorting and cleaning until late afternoon. We then made a shopping list (which I forgot in the RV) and headed for Publix in Eustis, FL. It is our favourite grocery store only about 5 minutes down the road (SR-19 - aka N. Central Avenue) at the intersection of CR-44.
Making the list helped, even though we forgot it. We only forgot to pick up relish and popcorn - not bad. The Del Sol was packed.
Then, as we often do, we cruised through the parking lot to Burger King for supper. We each had a 2 Cheeseburger w/Fries and Drink Meal ($3.49 each + $1.49 for 10 Chicken nuggets to share). Then it was only 5 minutes back to OMS.
After an hour the groceries, somehow, found a place. The refrigerator, freezer, pull-out pantry and all the storage compartments were totally full with no room to spare - amazing!
Again, it was TV until we crashed!
