Thu - 16 Apr/15

A few very short, (a few minutes) heavy downpours this morning. It stopped by the time we unhooked to leave. It's a good thing we got out of Texas. They are expecting several inches of rain.

No rain the rest of the day.

First stop today was the Cracker Barrel just a short drive away from the RV Park.

We then enjoyed the nice slow drive to the end of the Natchez Trace Parkway near Nashville, TN.

Our stay for tonight was the Grand Ole RV Resort just north of Nashville. Think they shop at Cracker Barrel? (grin) It will be a short 15 minute ride to most things we wish to see from here. We can leave without having to worry about Nashville traffic as we head north. Bonus: the rates are half of other parks only a few minutes closer to the action.

The staff were great.  We were guided to our spot and helped to hook-up. I think I'm still "Brain Dead" from our "Mudding" excursion in Louisiana - I can't remember this nice man's name? Ooops - he gave me his card - Thank You Randy (Camp Host)!

Did a complete"Quick" hook-up. All the services are connected; however, not through the compartment bottom openings. I just let the lines out the side. The door doesn't shut completely with the hoses and power line coming out that way; but it was quick.

We will probably depart for somewhere else on Sunday. Not sure where. I will spend tonight planning things to do in Nashville.
