Just above freezing last night - we put away the electric heaters a day too soon.
Used both RV propane furnaces to take the chill off in the morning.
If I knew you were coming I would have baked a
We know Liz and family are coming - so Charlotte is baking "Apple Bread". It had to "Rest" and "Rise" first.
Our next job was to "Refresh" the linens that were stored for the guest beds. Notice the "R" theme here. Our "Ladybugs" were busy today marking our machines as the laundry was packed.
We then went shopping at Publix to fill the list I requested from Liz. I hope they like what we bought.
After unpacking everything at the RV when went back into Umatilla, FL (only a few miles down the road) to Beef O'Bradys for supper. "Beefs" is a typical sports bar with a larger than usual menu. Charlotte had the Pork Chop which was marinated in brown sugar. She found it quite tasty. Charlotte had it with grilled Zucchini and a Baked Potato. I had the OMG "Pretzel Roll" Sliders with a Loaded Baked Potato. The sliders were also quite tasty. We were stuffed.
Our drinks were from the computerized "Coke 100 +" machine. This machine will dispense over 100 choices of soft drink flavours. We both ordered the Diet Ginger Ale - Charlotte's was Raspberry flavoured and mine was Lime. Both were a refreshing change from the usual.
Five Guys Burgers and Fries also uses this machine (at least in the U.S.) I really like having options. It makes a welcome change from the usual Diet soft drink choice. Usually it is Diet Coke or Diet Pepsi only at most places.
We went right back to the RV. Nice to be in Daylight Savings Time. Still not dark at 8 p.m.
The Apple Bread was just finishing in the Convection Microwave. So easy. Press Convection - Bake - Cake. It preheats to the proper temperature and lets you know when it is ready. Put in the cake and it then lets you know when it is done. It was yummy! Yes, we saved enough for our guests tomorrow (at least at the time of this writing - grin).
The it was an evening of TV before our guests arrive late tomorrow.
