Wednesday - 20 Jan/16

Tuesday was supposed to be our "Nothing" day; but it wasn't - so today is.

Charlotte decided to skip quilting today. At 7:30 a.m. when the alarm (TV comes on) went off we just rolled over and went back to sleep. Every once in a while everything catches up with us and we just need a little extra rest.

It is clear and sunny; but cold today. It was just above freezing last night. A half hour north (Ocala, FL area) it was below freezing (27 F) with frost and ice on the windshields. This made it easier for us to "VEG"! Because the air is so dry it heats up quicker than when there is high humidity. It will warm up to the mid 60's F by mid-afternoon. Seeing the sun again feels good even if it is much cooler.

We watched the usual (for our non-activity week days) TV for the morning. Charlotte relaxed knitting "Scrubbies". The Wi-Fi was better this morning so I did my routine computer tasks which included email and banking. I also printed JoAnn discount coupons for Charlotte.

Charlotte was thinking of using the sewing machine in the RV so I will postpone (as long as I can) taking the new saw out of the box.

Well, that didn't last long! Charlotte is knitting and the sewing machine isn't set up yet so I went for it.

I managed to get it all out of the box and installed the 12" 96 tooth carbide tipped blade.

Wow! Two months have gone by already. It's time to go to the OMS office and pay for the next month. Always service with a smile in the office (guess they like receiving money - grin).

I then brought the saw box to the recycling. It took a few minutes to cut it down so it would fit into the bin. Charlotte checked the Rec Hall for the list of materials needed for the next project. By the time we returned to the motorhome it was warm enough to leave the door open. The sunshine really warmed up the interior.

We called Kat (daughter) and the cats (Max and Jesse) back home in the Cold Country (Canada). All was well.

Next we called our other daughter Liz to check on her gang including the newest member, Camper, the dog. All is well also. Nick did a little snow plowing and Marty has a hockey tournament this weekend in the Olympic Center in Lake Placid, NY.

Otherwise it was just a casual day and regular TV evening with another cold night to end the day.
