Fri - 19 Dec/14

Today was an RV day.

Charlotte spent some time organizing the main clothes closet. When we are packing the RV in below Zero weather everything goes anywhere. We are happy to just get the stuff in and secured. That is why the first week will be spent cleaning, organizing and setting up all of the RV systems.

I put away the grocery items from yesterday's shopping trip to Walmart that did not need to be refrigerated. The 4 overhead cabinets are now loaded and organized. Ditto for the side pantry and refrigerator.

Charlotte prepared the Marie Callender's  Chicken Pot Pies for dinner (lunch, eh!). These are our favourite. They have a full top and bottom crust that cooks up perfectly in their container in the microwave. Nice and easy.

Most of the afternoon was spent setting up the computer and printing our RV "Business Card".

The card has our pictures and names on the reverse side. It includes our home address, phone e-mail and blog information.

We are still in contact with RVers that we met when we started 10 years ago. We are a friendly lot!

Speaking of being friendly our neighbour Barb dropped over to say "Hi" when she saw Charlotte sitting on the patio. They were soon discussing crafts.

Barb and Bob's lovely park model trailer borders the back of our site.

We then had the good fortune being invited over to view Barb's Japanese Embroidery. Some folks are excellent at crafts - I'm not!

Barb's husband Bob soon arrived and I gave him a "Hot off the Press" RV Business Card. Meeting nice people is one of the benefits of RVing. We highly recommend anyone who has not tried RVing to give a a whirl.

This is where I usually say that we settle in to watch Jeopardy and TV for the evening. Not tonight. We just lost all TV signals on all channels on both TVs. I don't know if it is the amplifier that has failed or if a wire came loose on the antenna.

That will be tomorrow's assignment.
